The sheep of Briga (a fea brigasca) characterizes basically the pastoral farming in the Ligurian and Maritime Alps. It's a strong ovine you recognize thanks its curved profile. Being grazing on the slopes, not far from the sea, where they can find the Mediterranean and the Alpine environment, these sheeps eat a particularly savoury forage that heightens the taste of the meat.
